Greetings Delegates,
My name is Lina Bennani Karim and I am honoured to be your chair for this year's Environmental Committee.  I am 17 years old and currently a senior at the Casablanca American School. Having already participated as a delegate in 3 MAMUN conferences, this will be my first year as a chair! MUN has played a significant role in my academic career and has given me the opportunity to not only develop essential debating and public speaking skills but also to travel abroad and connect with other ambitious and passionate students. After experiencing MUN as a delegate and ambassador, I am eager for this opportunity to experience the conference from a chair's perspective.  Although I am very excited to be chairing this committee this year, I have learned throughout my experience that it is you, the delegates, that make this experience as entertaining and memorable as possible.

"Measures to halt deforestation and desertification in the Amazon" 

Hello Delegates,

My name is Mehdi Bennani Smires and I am a senior at Casablanca American School. I am honoured to be a chair for the Environmental Committee at Maroc MUN’s 8th annual conference. This will be my first time as a chair after participating as a delegate in five Model UN conferences. My job is to ensure that the debates are productive and fun while simultaneously being relevant and keeping a factual basis. I am looking forward to working with all of the delegates in the Environmental Committee and am hopeful that we will draft fair resolutions as a product of active debate.
