It is my utmost pleasure to welcome you to the Maroc Model United Nation 8th Edition! My name is Mohamed Hassan Mikou, I am a Junior attending the Rabat American School. After having served as a delegate, chair and Deputy Secretary-General, this year I will be serving as the Secretary-General. MUN has played a significant role in my extracurricular activities for the past few years. This simulation has given me the opportunity to engage with well-informed students, build public speaking skills and boost my self-confidence. My name is Ali Idrissi and I am honoured to be your Deputy Secretary General for the MaMUN MMXVIII conference. I am currently heading into my penultimate year at the Rabat American school, making this upcoming conference my 3rd one that I have participated in. I have been fortunate enough to have experience in all aspects of the conference. I started out as the delegate of Qatar in MaMun 2016, then became a chair for the Human Rights committee in MaMUN 2017 and am now a member of the panel in MaMun 2018. I assure you all that I will work tirelessly with my peers to make this conference as fruitful and insightful as possible. My name is Taïeb Belghazi, I am an eleventh grader at the Rabat American School. I will serve as the President of the General Assembly of the upcoming MaMUN MMXVIII conference. My job is very content-oriented. I will coordinate committees and delegates to fit with the nations represented at our conference. I will also make sure that chairs are well-prepared for the conference and that the general assembly runs smoothly. Through the variety of topics and debate structure that this year's secretariat is aiming for, I am certain that, at our conference, delegates will find themselves in an environment full of stimuli that will allow for fruitful debate and effective resolutions. I have taken part in various Model United Nations conferences as a delegate for the past two years both in Morocco and abroad. I was also the assistant to the president of the general assembly during last year's conference and that is how I acquired the much-needed experience that I will rely on to effectively fulfil my task as PGA this year.
My name is Yasmine Benchekroun, this is my 6th MUN and 3rd MaMUN. I will be participating in this conference as the Assistant of the President of the General Assembly. This is my first time being part of MaMUN as a secretariat member. In the past 2 years I have participated in MUN as a delegate and registrar of ICJ.
